Overview

Immsi S.p.A. is the holding company of a Group of over 40 companies which operates in different business sectors.

The Company’s investment portfolio includes businesses related to: 

  • the real estate sector (tourist and holiday resort), through the companies Is Molas S.p.A., Pietra S.r.l. and Apuliae S.p.A.;  
  • the industrial sector (production and distribution of scooters, moto and light commercial vehicles), through the companies belonging to the Piaggio and the Aprilia groups;
  • the naval sector (production of fast ferries, catamarans, hydrofoils, yacht of different dimensions and defence ships such as mine countermeasure vessels, fast patrol boats and hydrographic vessels), through the companies belonging to the Rodriquez Cantieri Navali group.

The Company also owns a real estate property, a building located in Rome (Via Abruzzi), which is currently entirely rented, in addition to a stake equal to 7.08% in the company Alitalia – Compagnia Aerea Italiana S.p.A..

The Group's target is to increase the value of current and future investments, also by re-launching companies characterized by significant growth prospects which may require contributions in terms of capital and managerial resources, with the aim of strengthening the market positions in the respective business sectors, thus creating value for the shareholders.

 

In FY2010, the Immsi Group has posted Net revenues equal to approx. 1,604.3 million euros, an EBITDA of approx. 183.7 million euros (EBITDA margin equal to approx. 11.5%) and a Net income of 9.8 million euros. As at December 31st, 2010 the Group employed 7.952 employees.

Valorisation of current and future investments is the main target of the Group, focused on the stimulation of local productive activities with significant growth perspectives when requiring financial and managerial resources in order to pursuit shareholders value creation.
